LOYER & ABELLO was created in 2004 by Mr Bertrand Loyer, Lawyer of the TOULOUSE Bar, and Mr Michel Abello, Lawyer of the PARIS Bar.

The firm is organized into four departments:

• A Patent department
• A Trademark and Design department
• A Litigation  department
• A Business, Contracts and Valorisation department

LOYER & ABELLO is a multidisciplinary law firm: it combines the scientific and legal skills of lawyers and engineers. Three of its members are engineers, European Patent Attorneys and lawyers.

Being ranked in 2006 and 2008 as "Recognized Practice" in the category of law firms specializing in Intellectual Property - Trademarks and Designs by the magazine ‘Stratégie Finance Droit’, LOYER & ABELLO has been  recognized for its innovative legal achievements by the magazine ‘Option Finance/Option Droit & Affaires’ in its June 2010 and 2011 issues : the Patent and Litigation teams are ranked "3 Stars" in the category of law firms specializing in patent litigation for the period extzending from January 1st, 2009 to June 2011 and the Trademark Team is ranked "1 Star" for the period June 2010 to June 2011.
